What is the process or technician training certification ensured for pre-crimped and wired connectors?
Our operators assembling all our cable assemblies are trained and certified to IPC-A-620 requirements, as well as our own specific tooling instructions for the products involved.
Do you have a tool to help separate this connector when it is latched to the mating half?
The tool you need is the Z125-9262000 – this will help push in the two latch buttons when the connectors are engaged, so you can then separate the mated connectors. Consult the training video for more information on using this tool. It is also possible to push in the two buttons by hand as well, if you have good access.
