Harwin’s Gecko-MT connectors provide the smallest, lightest mixed-technology connector with a low profile design, ideally suited for stacking and cable mating in areas where PCB real estate is at a premium. Vibration and shock resistant, miniature but with additional 10A contacts.

Product Styles
- Symmetrical and Non-symmetrical contact configurations – Two symmetrical layouts of 1+8+1 and 2+8+2 (signal contacts in the middle, power on the outside). Six non-symmetrical layouts including 2, 3, 4 or 6 power contacts.
- Board-to Board, Cable-to-Board and Cable-to-Cable – Female connectors in cable or vertical PCB throughboard, Male connectors in cable or horizontal PCB throughboard. Symmetrical versions compatible with existing Metal Backshells, giving the option of shielded cable assemblies when used with external braiding.
- Screw-Lok options – Built with easy and fast “Mate-before-Lok” screw fixings. Connectors are fully mated before the captive screws need to be engaged. The range includes both standard gender (floating screw on female connector) or reverse fix (floating screw on male connector).
Size/Weight Advantage
With space and weight a consideration for many high-reliability applications, Gecko-MT delivers a signal pin spacing of 1.25mm, and compact power pins. This design means that these connectors achieve significant space and weight saving over alternative high-performance connectors such as Combi Micro-D.

Gecko is a focus product for Harwin, and is undergoing an active development program. The connectors are designed with automated assembly systems in mind – all PCB connectors can be purchased in Tape and Reel packaging.
