Questions & Answers Ask a Question

Are these compliant to Aerospace Standard AS9100?

Please be advised that the Aerospace Standard AS9100 is a quality management standard and applies to a company, rather than a product. Harwin is certified to the EN9100:2018 standard, which is the European version of AS9100D and is technically equivalent. You can download our EN9100 certificate from our Quality page.

Do these SMT test points come with an LDC (Lot Date Code) or a Lot number for traceability?

Yes, all our products are supplied with a batch number – see our Support article on batch traceability. If you need to determine the date of manufacture from a specific batch number, please contact one of our Customer Services Experts.

Why is there no voltage rating for this contact?

Voltage rating is calculated from the flashover voltage – the voltage at which the electricity can break down the air gap and jump between two contacts. With a single contact, the voltage rating you achieve will depend on the space you leave between two contacts, or a contact and any other conducting element. So we are unable to give a voltage rating for single contacts, as it will depend on your usage.

Does this product need a pick and place cap for SMT placement?

A separate pick and place cap is not necessary (and is not supplied) – the part has an integrated flat surface that should be used for pick and place purposes. You just need to specify a vacuum nozzle of the right size.

RoHS Compliant (2015/863/EU) with no Exemption required
