Frequently Asked Questions Ask a Question
Can you please specify maximum and minimum insertion depth for this connector?
For the minimum depth, the Technical Drawing shows the contact point as 1.90±0.25mm below the mating face. Ideally you should aim for 0.5mm of wipe beyond this point, and you will also want to consider any chamfer on the end of the mating male pin. Maximum insertion depth has not been specifically determined, but should not exceed the 3.2mm height of the housing.
