Frequently Asked Questions Ask a Question
What is the conductor material and finish of the cable used?
We use either UL1571 or UL10064 cable for this assembly. The base material is a copper conductor. For UL1571 it will be tinned, and for UL10064 it is bare copper. The UL specification references are given on the Technical Drawing.

How many mating cycles can be achieved using housing M40-1201500 and pre-cabled contacts M40-9000099? Are there any better choices that may maximise the number of mating cycles?
The durability (number of mating cycles) for this range is 50 operations. For the highest number of cycles, you will need to consider our high-reliability ranges – Gecko would be a good choice as it is the nearest in size. If you need any further assistance in choosing options, please contact our Technical Team.
