Frequently Asked Questions Ask a Question
What is the storage temperature for M22-2010605? Can it be stored at -45 degrees C?
You can see our Shelf-Life policy on the relevant Support Page. It states “product must be stored in a suitable environment that is not subjected to extreme variations in temperature and humidity” – I think we would have to consider minus 45 degrees as being an extreme in relation to connector performance. But I can only confirm that we have not tested long-term storage at low temperatures. You might want to consider drying the product and storing in a vacuum sealed pack. It may also depend on how long you intend to store it before use. If you are referring to storage after the product has been assembled to a PCB, there is less risk as you are no longer expecting the product to solder after storage, or handling which might cause problems if the housing has gone brittle. I can only recommend that if this is a crucial factor, you will need to carry out specific testing to confirm its suitability.

How do I cut down this pin header?
Single row pin headers can be carefully snapped by hand. For both single and double row, you can also purchase a hand-cutting tool Z1022-00 – it was designed for 2.54mm pitch, but can work on 2mm. Or, you can use a fine slitting saw if you have access to cutting machinery – this will give the cleanest edge.
