Does the female crimp contact G125-0010005 (26 AWG) mate with male contact G125-1020005 (28-32 AWG)?
Yes, you can mate together the two different cable size contacts. Both male contacts and both female contacts have the same front half of the contact for mating compatibility. It is only the bore at the rear of the contact, where the wire is inserted, that is different for the 26 AWG and 28-32 AWG types. So both female contacts G125-0010005 and G125-002005 mate with both male contacts G125-1010005 and G125-1020005.
Does Harwin offer pre-crimped cables with the G125-0020005 connectors on both sides with different (e.g. 300mm) lengths?
We do have double-ended pre-cabled signal contacts available for the Gecko range, using G125-0020005 contacts. The specific item you may be interested in is G125-FW20300F94, which uses white 24AWG wire and is 300mm long. For other length, color and wire size options you can consult the Technical Drawing, and/or contact our Experts for assistance.
