Individual Open-Ended Board Sockets
Board-mounting sockets for individual placement or odd-form components. Using these sockets to mount other components or modules removes the risk of heat or mis-handling damage during the soldering process, and adds the flexibility of upgrading or field-replacement of worn out or damaged elements.
Sycamore Contacts
Unique triple-beam contact from Harwin, giving a reliable ultra-low profile connection.
- Ultra-low profile on the PCB – maximum 0.43mm above the board
- Designs accommodate mating pins 0.80mm to 1.90mm, square or round
- Supplied in Tape and Reel packaging, ideally suited for high volume automated assembly
- Made from Beryllium Copper for increased operating temperatures -50°C to +125°C

Twin Beam SMT Sockets
Harwin’s experience in connector design and SMT hardware products enabled the development of twin-beam contacts, designed to accommodate a wide pin range.
- Ultra-low profile on the PCB – just the material thickness of 0.20mm above the board
- Designs accommodate mating pins 0.80mm to 1.80mm, square or round
- Supplied in Tape and Reel packaging, ideally suited for high volume automated assembly
- Made from high-quality Phosphor Bronze material for -40°C to +105°C operating temperatures
- Rated between 5 Amps and 9 Amps (design-dependent)
- Reduced component and machine placement costs

Horizontal Test Sockets
A dual entry horizontal socket with an insulating housing, accepts Ø2.03mm test probes.
