Are the surface mount Datamate range of connectors suitable to be soldered directly onto a flexi cable, or must they be used on a ridged/flexi ridged PCB assembly?

Yes, we would expect you to be able to solder these products on to flexi cable. You will need to review soldering temperatures, to make sure that you do not cause any damage to the flexi cable. If you need further assistance, please do contact our Technical Team for more help.
