What is the hand crimp tool for the M40-1000046 crimp contacts?

Unfortunately, this product is too small for us to be able to offer a suitable hand crimp tool. If you wish to do your own crimping, you will need to commission a crimp applicator for use in a crimp machine from a suitable supplier. Alternatively, you can choose a pre-cabled contact from our M40-9xx range. We can also offer pre-cabled contacts in other lengths or full cable assemblies – contact our Experts for assistance.

How many mating cycles can be achieved using housing M40-1201500 and pre-cabled contacts M40-9000099? Are there any better choices that may maximise the number of mating cycles?

The durability (number of mating cycles) for this range is 50 operations. For the highest number of cycles, you will need to consider our high-reliability ranges – Gecko would be a good choice as it is the nearest in size.
