Electromagnetic Compatibility

The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, EU Directive No: 2014/30/EU, regulates the ability of electrical and electronic equipment with respect to:

  1. The amount of electromagnetic emissions produced and;
  2. The immunity of the same equipment to interference from other sources.

As none of the products placed onto the market by Harwin are electrical or electronic equipment themselves, Harwin products have no legal requirements related to this Directive.

The Batteries Directive (EU Directive No: 2006/66/EU) limits the usage of some heavy metals within batteries and requires all batteries to be responsibly recycled at the end of their life.

None of the products supplied by Harwin contain batteries, and therefore Harwin have no legal requirements related to this Directive.
