John joined Harwin in 2019 with almost 30 years of experience in engineering and an MSc in Microwave and solid-state physics. His passion for engineering is reflected in his role at Harwin, focusing on smaller designs with higher performance. John’s experience and expertise in RF and Microwave Engineering derived from his work in developing radar for spaceborne products, and hand-held satellite phones.
He is an avid volunteer for local charities, often combining fitness with fundraising in his spare time.
Fun fact: Once upon a summer job, John dressed up as ‘Henry Hound’ for the parade at Alton Towers Theme Park.
