As the military look to reduce casualties and increase reconnaissance hours, UAVs are an increasingly attractive alternative to piloted flights and thus their operational requirements are becoming more and more complex. Harwin connector systems are used in flight controls, engine management, communications, guidance infra-red systems and cameras in both military and civilian UAVs.
