Quality

Harwin's commitment to quality extends to all areas of the organisation, from Executive Management through to Production.

Our Quality Policy is based on the following principles

• Commitment to Continuous Improvement of Products and Services, via the use of an effective Preventive and Corrective Action System.
• An open computer system of real-time information, to encourage employee participation and feedback on all matters relating to the effective running of the company.
• A positive and helpful attitude from all employees at all times, which translates into a personal, responsive and highly professional service for our customers.

Quality approvals

• BS EN ISO 9001:2000. While many other manufacturers wait for approval, Harwin's 50-plus years of commitment to quality has helped us to earn the coveted ISO 9001 Certification.
• IECQ-CECC (Datamate Product Range) certificate number: M1016 IECQ-CECC

Harwin's commitment to quality

• Product design, tooling and Harwin-built automatic assembly machines are subject to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design for Assembly (DFA) and other strict, quality control procedures prior to production.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques monitor the production process. Our goal is Sigma 6 (zero defects).
