History of Harwin

Harwin was formed in 1952, in North London. In 1958, the company relocated to Portsmouth, on the south coast of England, and from there embarked on a continuing journey of achievement and expansion across the USA, Asia and around the world.

• 1963 Harwin moves into new purpose-built factory
• 1977 Harwin begins manufacture of IC sockets

• 1990 Harwin gains ISO9001 certification
